Rebecca Sell owner of Barbarella and Kiss’n’Make Up in Los Gatos, has been a make up artist for over 20 years. After working in San Francisco for 10 years, Rebecca felt the South Bay area needed its own beauty boutique. Not only is Rebecca an innovative businesswoman, but she is also one of the most sought after make-up artists in the area. Rebecca’s work includes ad campaigns in Bazaar, Allure, and American Salon, as well as experience in commercials, television, movies, and professional print. Rebecca specializes in brow shaping, permanent make up, lash extensions, and make up for all occasions, particularly weddings.
Richard Sell has been an integral part of Barbarella’s staff since 2000 as a brow technician and make up artist. Priding himself on being a perfectionist, Richard’s precision and attentiveness to detail has made him a brow guru and he has developed a true “cult following” amongst his clients. Having graduated from San Jose City College as a licensed cosmetologist and his continual training year-round on the latest trends and techniques, Richard has honed his skills and become a master in the industry. Richard offers a range of services, from brow sculpting, make up applications, consultations, and lessons, as well as wedding make up.
Alicia Paquette began working at Barbarella in 2005. With over 8 years combined retail and cosmetic experience, she combines her love for fashion and beauty to fully service every client that visits the store. Fortunately, at Barbarella, Alicia is able to assist every woman who walks in to walk out feeling fabulous, from picking out an outfit, doing a make up application, and recommending a talented hair stylist that will suit their needs. Alicia specializes in personalized shopping, as well as offering make-up services.
